About us!

We have been growing cherries on our orchard in East Kelowna since 1903, and today we ship worldwide! See Our Cherries to learn about our varieties. International sales enquiries may be made to our exclusive broker for North America and Europe, Consolidated Fruit Packers, Ph: 250-868-1400, Email [email protected]

Since 2004 Dendy Orchards was GlobalGAP® or CanadaGAPcertified, giving buyers and consumers assurance that our fruit - and all aspects of our production and packing practices - meet stringent standards for food safety, and environment, conservation, and labour practices. We are also certified under the BC Environmental Farm Plan, and winner of a Kelowna conservation award for innovation in introducing falconry for environmentally friendly control of birds. We aren't perfect, but we are trying!

Local sales are handled by Dominic Rampone, and the fruit stand is open at the farm daily during the season, usually early July to mid or late August, depending on the season.

Domestic Canadian bulk sales enquires should be made to the farm office.

Work With Us!

This is going to be a late season with lots of fruit. At this stage, it look like we will not be starting before July 15, with Lapins around July 25th.  Check back regularly to see updates as we get closer to the harvest. It also means we will be packing to the end of August or later, so please plan accordingly.

For work applications, please email us with information about your experience and job type preference. If you are applying to get on the picking crew, please email Niel Dendy. If not Canadian, a work or working holiday visa is required.

If you are a returning employee, please email us before the end of March to confirm you wish to return. Places will not be guaranteed after that.

Click on Work with Us for more information about working with us in the future.

If you are looking for work at our orchard in New Zealand, go to fortunefruit.com for further information. Their season is late December to February.
